A double-bill of great Brazilian music from across the generations. The Ipanemas, led by septuagenarian Wilson Das Neves, formed in the late 1950s and pioneered an Afro-Bossa sound accentuating the African roots as well as the jazz sophistication of Bossa Nova. Tonight they make their UK debut. Zuco 103 have pioneered their own electronic sound at the point where samba and bossa meet drum and bass. Led by the amazing vocal presence of Lilian Vieira, Zuco 103 are making a rare return to London after several years’ absence. Together they provide an unmissable night.
