This summer London will welcome some of the leading names in Latin music, as stars hailing from Dominican Republic, Colombia and Spain take over The O2 for a celebratory day of music, dancing and street food. Grammy award winners Juan Luis Guerra and Juanes join forces to launch the very first Hola! London Latin Music Festival, along with David Bisbal and Sebastián Yatra.

Fans of Latin, tropical, salsa, urban and dance music can enjoy a full day of high energy vibrant performances – all under one roof. This event celebrates the river of Latin music that runs through the heart of London. Outside the main arena, a Spanish and Latin American food fair will take up residence from midday and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy free music stages and activities.

Juan Luis Guerra is one of the most internationally recognised Latin artists of recent decades, selling over 30 million records and winning numerous awards. Known for merengue and Afro-Latin fusion he has popularised bachata music on a global level. Colombian singer/songwriter Juanes is one of the most important popular Latin music artists in the world today. His debut solo album Fijate Bien (2000) won him a Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and he has gone on to win twenty one Latin Grammy Awards, two Grammy Awards, and nine Billboard Latin Music Awards.

David Bisbal is a Spanish singer, songwriter, and actor, who gained fame as a runner-up on the reality television show Operación Triunfo in 2001. Since then he has released five studio albums, all of which topped the Spanish Albums Chart, and has sold over five million records in Spain and America, including 42 platinum albums. Sebastián Yatra is a Colombian singer/songwriter, who rose to fame in 2013 after his first hit single ‘El psicólogo’ earned him a strong following in Colombia. In 2016 his Reggaeton and Trap EDM hit, ‘Traicionera’ solidified his status as a favourite international artist in Latin America and the United States.

From midday a free programme of events outside The O2 includes Mariachi Fiesta, Rene Alvarez & Cuban Combination, DJ Johnny G and Mestizo Mexican Folklore Group. There will also be authentic Latin American food stalls from Comida Fest, including Ceviche Creativo, Guasacaca, Smokoloko, Brazilian Flavour, Tayrona Colombian Street food and much more.
