“Whether in English or Spanish the much-travelled singer’s left-field take on Latin music is quite beautiful” Charlie Gillett  Observer

Kevin Johansen’s acclaimed live collaboration with mouth-accordion playing cartoonist Liniers and his amazing overhead projector (no, really). Brilliant, eclectic and pure genius rolled into one.

Kevin  moved from Alaska to Argentina as a child before moving to New York where he formed his band The Nada performing Latin sounds mixed with pop, funk and rock. Now living back in Argentina he is joined here by Buenos Aires’ cartoonist and collaborator Liniers for a live show that mixes live music and improvised art to stunning effect.

“Random, witty and sometimes reckless the songs are as catchy as they come and Johansen a naturally engaging storyteller, switches with ease from Spanish to English like a true migrant. This is the soundtrack of a mobile globe and of a city full of wanderers, tramps and people in transit.” The Independent
