In Trinidad, where the football comes from, Calypso is the soul of the island. Tonight’s stellar line-up brings together Trinidad’s 20th century calypso greats in a unique event. The evening celebrates the captivating melodies and timeless hits (Shame & Scandal in the Family, Rum & Coca Cola and Jean & Dinah) that made a cultural hub of Dirty Jim’s Swizzle Club in Port of Spain and gave a voice and sound to Trinidad in the world. The Calypsonians are getting older but their energy and golden voices full of soul and tropical heat drive on.
